Pajama Style

There are some days that are meant to be spent around the house in your pajamas, and "pajama style" outfits (those that are as comfortable as pajamas and incorporate pajama pieces while not being entirely hermit-like) are a good go-to when you may possibly be seen in public watering the plants or checking the mail.

Pajama Style Must-Haves:

• Oversize sweater or cardigan (think pseudo-bathrobe!)
• Lounge-style pants (or PJ bottoms) that can be easily exchanged for real pants if need be (for an impromptu walk, for instance)
• Slippers! 
• Comfy shirt falling somewhere between PJs and outdoor clothes

Vintage Gallery: 1940's

As far as vintage fashion is concerned, I've always felt a strong affection for that of the 1940's.  Victory rolls, scarves, circle skirts, high-waist swimwear, big jackets...everything managed to be simple and practical and full of personality at the same time.  Totally worthy of a Vintage Gallery!
